Dual carbs are very rarely done - for best power most people go with a single Weber downdraft. Injection with individual throttle bodies is used sometimes as well, a bit more power still. Dual carbs IMO would be more trouble than they'd be worth.

Piston or diaphragm type??

Don't get me wrong, I can make a 260z/240z (insert your favorite su-carbed engine

here) sing. I love those carbs. But I haven't seen one in about 3 years.

I just installed dual DHLA 40's on a buddies car. I though tunning was going to be next to impossible, but was very easy. Just like setting up a single, only you just do everything twice. The most valuable tool is the synchronizer, next to wide selection of jets.

Good luck
