After I removed both engines I found that there is a difference in the Flywheel-Disc & pressure plate.

I'm planning on purchasing a complete setup from clutchmasters minus the flywheel.

Lost on which model to order!!!

The 80 setup or the 84?

Next?

Will the Tranie on the 84-GSL mount up to the 80 motor.

Lost

The engine will bolt to it.The reason there is a size difference is there was a bigger flywheel and clutch introduced in '83.Your stock clutch from 84 is bigger and has a better holding capacity, thats why it looks bigger.Seeing as you're using the 84 tranny might as well get the 83+ clutch and flywheel too.I'm curious.......why are you swaping a older engine into a newer car anyways?

It'll vibrate like that since the counterweight is different. You'll have to use the 215mm clutch setup thats on the 80, unless you get an auto counterweight for the 80 and a 225mm lightweight flywheel.
