looking through the rebuild forums, i never saw anything about rebuilding a 12a. maybe im blind, but pretty soon mine will need rebuilding. anybody know of a vid, kit, or link or somethin to help?

 

I don't think the 12a rebuild is any different than a 13b is.If I can remember right I think it was atkins that used to sell the rebuild vid.

 

yea i was lookin on the atkins site and all they had was 13B stuff, if i remember correctly. im thinkin bout buyin a blown 12A and rebuilding it at my leisure to replace the one thats in my car (177k miles), and then rebuild that one and port the **** out of it, etc. didnt know if there was much difference anyway in the rebuild between the 12a and 13b

if you pick up a haynes maual for about 10 bucks it has a complete teardown and rebuild of a 12a, its like a 13b but they have lots of good pics to help ya too
