Hello, all 3 or 4 of you

I just wanted to say, "Happy New Year"....

I'm not one for celebrations or *hollow-days*, but out of all of them I think this one holds the most meaning.

As for my new yrs' resolutions, I thought I would share mine; they include the following:

-gotta lose some weight. I've decided that I want a g/f again, and there's no way I can expect to want someone nice & fit if I'm all fat & flabby. I'm not gonna quit smoking, nor will I really quit drinking. I'm just gonna be more physically active & try to watch what I eat a bit more, as well as when and why I eat.

-gotta get out of debt. Also related to getting a g/f (which always seems to cost me a bundle by the breakup). My car has a little over a yr's worth of payments, but I've accumulated quite a debt in mods & labor. I've already begun to sell off spare parts (polished uims, etc), spare parts that I;ve decided not to install (pfc, oem side skirts, etc), and more. I'm probably gonna sell off bits if the opportunity comes across. Also, i'm gonna be more choosy about what I buy for the car, as good deals seem to come up more often than I originally thought.

*I didn't get the office supervisor like I thought I would, but i'm working more @ job #2 and my yearly raise @ job #1 is decent.

-will most likely move out of parents house. Yes, I still live with my parents. No, I don't know how to cook, do laundry, or wake up to an alarm clock. I'm debating whether I can afford to really look into buying a home or renting.... I still don't feel like I'm making "enough"(according to my parents). Time to grow up & stop being a kid

THIS WILL BE THE YEAR OF CHANGE, IN SOME FORM OR FASHION!!!

I know that MonturboII is moving around, and always looking into better employment & getting another rotary vehicle

I know that 75repu is moving to AZ

I know that Domfd3s will be promoted in "mod" ranking on the *evil* forum

I know that mjw is getting murried in May/June (congrats)

I have some other forum buddies that will be doing their annual moving, and a few debating about further schooling, so G'luck to y'all on that....

Be safe, be happy, & keep on driving

-jerry

Oh yeah, I've managed to NOT get a ticket in 1 1/2 yrs. This is probably the longest EVAR for me. I hope a couple of my 6 points will fall off & lower my $4200/yr (formerly $5200) insurance rate from Progressive.

Happy Meal: It might be a bit late, but you might want to try applying to supermarkets.... some of them might still need scabs. The pay is pretty good, but i don't know if you are old enough. I remember in h.s. a few friends of mine worked as baggers at the local markets

Repu: What are you going to do w/the commercial license? Be a trucker? I don't think you need to get a bachelor's, but dunno. Actually, I'm told by my p/t job boss that one of our former employees pooled his $$ with his 2 bros, and bought an old semi. The 3 would take turns driving, so they would never have to stop for long. I was told that shorter trip times = more $$ & more jobs...
