ace: the house we are in in belmont is for sale....

mike
It's doin' great. I picked up another TII a month ago that is going to start getting all the good stuff put on it in the next couple of weeks because the other one needs a rebuild.

I'm having a difficult time trying to decide which one is going to eventually be the 'baby'.

Black or red, black or red....[/quote]

Are both of the cars exactly the same?

Mike how has your 20b project come along? Are you driving it yet??

Ace,

They are both '87's. The black one has a lot of dings and the motor needs a rebuild. It still runs better than a lot of honduhs but you can tell it's tired compared to the red one.

Black pros:

a/c works

interior is ok

all electrics work except for the pass. window and clock.

still handle good though it should have bushings done.

turbo has no play

fluidyne rad.

rewired fuel pump

bonez DP and MP stock cat back

Cons:

body dings and needs paint

stock stereo

has a couple low compression pulses on rear rotor

Red pros:

motor runs strong

never floods starts great

cold start works as it should

E.L. Prototype ECU

Racing Beat cone intake

Racing Beat DP

High flow cat stock cat back

clean interior!

cd player and speakers

recently repainted, looks good from 10' can see defects if closer

looks good except for...

Red Cons:

big *** dent in driver's door/fender where someone backed into it.

handles like ***

little bit of play in the turbo

oil leak from the oil return line flange on the turbo

weak clutch

wiper switch shot

pass. window switch doesn't work at all

It's pretty even to me. The bolt on stuff doesn't really count too much because I can always change it over.

I like black rx's and when I first got the red one I thought it was really f*ing red but it has started to grow on me. Sooo.....

black or red, black or red....

I would just keep the one that runs well as the everyday car and use the other one as the project car.
