i am getting close to starting restore my rx-4 and was just wondering if anyone could tell me some good places to get parts for it?

You can use a transmission from any early 1st gen rx7. Any 86 to 90 NA 13B block can be used but you will need a Racing Beat Holley carb set up and header plus switch over the early engine mounts. Any 83 - 85 distributor is desirable as it's electronic. Nice to have the coils too.

Suspension pieces can be bought at Rare Parts. They are a god send. Body parts interchange with the Mazda 929 of the same years. '74 front end sheet metal is much nicer than the later set up.

The parts are out there. I've owned my 1974 RX4 coupe for 19 years and have managed to keep it going.

do you have any spares?

looking for left hand door mirror and reaps tip and/or muffler
