Unfortunately Martin I will not post at the repuforum any more due to the ******** running the place.
They seem hell bent on being a boring forum.
So be it.
But I dont see why you and I cant still try to help each other out.
I used "castin' craft" crafting resin on the emblem. It's the stuff the make the scorpion paperweights out of. You can pick it up at most any hobbie shop. I painted the emblem using modeling paint and poured the resin over that as you probably already guessed.
I dont know if using some paint as a tint in the resin would effect the curing time or not. Most likely would work just fine. I use tints in epoxy all the time.
But you might also try this stuff that Eastwood Co. sells.
go to thier website www.eastwoodco.com and search this.
Plastic fix tail Light Lens Repair Kit - Red
I have never used the stuff but it only costs $13.50 so i dont see why it isnt worth a try.
Anyway if you want to talk anymore try me here at nopistons.com
or email me
fd3boost@comcast.net
And my AIM is FdTresBOOST
Good luck with it.
-Happy new year!
