its safe to assume the r-100 is lighter but they both have pretty much the same suspension?

r100/rx2/rx3 basically have the same front suspension. the rear is the difference, the r100 and rx3 have leaf springs, the rx2 has a 3 link panhard rod setup.

the r100 is the smallest of these cars, so its going to be the lightest, but not by much

wikipedia says 2013lbs for the r100, and 2315 for the rx2. that is stock to stock, and from wikipedia....

r-100 or rx-2 i'll take what ever one i can get. chances are the first one i lay a finger on i will not be able to turn down. but i need to plan to shop around. so what can one expect to pay for one thats in really good shape with an upgraded motor? the loan the bank is giving me will only loan me money for a complete car not the car and then everything thats needed to fix it. im hoping to find a 13b with a holly, or turbo.

a finished, nice car, should be in the 4000-6000range, a really really nice one will be more.

the r100 is small, you have to do some work to fit a 12a into it, 13b requires surgery, and would be scary with a turbo...

rx2 is 1stgen sized, but again, these things a quick NA
