First major problem today. Going down the road and lost brakes

Brought it home, some idgit had spliced in a new section of brake line; no big deal if done correctly. However, this was spliced in with an Aluminum Fuel union fitting. Damn thing split in 2!

Bitch List:

1. Hood Support Ribs/Structur is loose. Waiting on a tube of DURAMIX NVH to be delivered to correctly fix problem

2. Brake Line: Temp Repair Saturday/ 90/10 CU-Ni Brake Line on order

3. Rear Brakes, they are toast. Waiting on RESPEED Brackets to convert to Disc Rears

fix the hood! the rx2 is notorious for having the outer hood skin pop off while you're driving anyways. you should be adding a couple of spot welds to the front. finding a new hood is hard!

oh and just to follow up, crazy ralph says you put the rx7 struts in for the better brakes too.

you need 74 rx4 steering arms, they use the rx2/3 balljoint but the rx7 strut bolt pattern. and then you need the rx4 tie rods, cause they are straight, and not at an angle like the rx2/3. the rx2/3 tie rods bind up.

or hell you could put nissan z struts in there too, 5 lug....

Not going to weld the hood. There is a system : DURAMIX NVH

It is designed for repairs to hood supports and door skins
