use a 12a turbo front cover, that way you have the oil drain hole. The TT has an extra bolt in the front cover, but don't worry about it. Best option for you is to go for an aftermarket ECU straight away. Use a series 4/5 CAS as this will locate in your 12a turbo front cover. Mazda part number for front cover is N23610600D

If you use the GSL-SE pan on the REW you will have to mod either the pan or the rear iron where the original REW mounts went. I just screwed in the factory bolt with red locktite and after it cured i cut them off flush and drilled and taped them. I put my turbo drain hose on the flat spot right below the OMP. Thats all the advise i can think of (at least as far as the oil pan is concerned). I think i have an extra SE oil pan around. If your interested just email me. allensmith@hctc.net
