I found a repu in someones backyard yesterday. It was facing a fairly main road and is elevated behind someones garage on a hill. Anyhow, its blue, has minor rust between the tail lamps, and looks good other than that. I couldn't walk around the car though. the guy wasn't home. He didn't have any other rotary treasures out in front of his house, but i'm gonna try and catch him at home this week sometime and hopefully he'll sell. (its the middle of winter, the car is in his backyard unprotected, and has been for sometime according to the guy who told me about the truck). So unless he has some badass stuff taking up room in his 3 car garage, he doesn't cherish the truck. Wish me luck. Hopefully i can add one to the forum.

What concerns should i check out (besides the rust) when looking at these. I've never even seen one of these in person until now, and haven't had my hands on any of the older models before the 7s.

rust is a main concern.. if the widshield gasket was leaky there will be rust on the floorboards too.. It would be cool if the truck had the stock engine and tranny.. interior parts.. the trucks are fairly simple.. so not much to look for body wise.. Sinc emy truck never had the stock engine Perhaps Jeff or Tom can give you some tips on checking the original engine.

Didn't they come with 4port 13b's? what do you have in yours? I have been looking around at a few sites, so some of my questions are being answered by themself. I really hope this guy is willing to sell. Of course I've always wanted an rx2, but i would still take the REPU, or anything older than the 7's over the Fb i'm planning on right now.

They came with a four port carbed 13b.. They had the heaviest flywheel of any rotary.. and Auto or stick tranny. Towing mirrors were an option too..
