The Painless wiring harnesses are nice, but they are overpriced. I did quite a bit of checking at national street rod shows and found the exact same harness sold under another name for almost half the price. It's out in the garage right now, but I'll post the name later.



Looks like a good project. I'm sure it will keep you busy for a while



BTW - PM me some info on this building you are getting. I'm thinking about getting maybe a 30'x30' or so garage built out back. My full time job is letting me go to a 4 day work week with Fridays off, so I may try to open up a small fabrication shop. Maybe....

i still like that truck , i think if you took the bumper to a chrome shop they can straighten it.



i'm someday gonna paint my r100 ferrari fly yellow, i dunno if cym would work on the r100, the ferrari color is not metallic

the manual I have is a chiltons Manual I believe.. I have it at home .. it is for the mazda trucks for 78 to 86 I think..



The painless harness was a bit pricey.. I think it was like $150 for the universal 18 circuit kit.. it has provisions for power locks and windows and all sortsa other crap.. all the wires are labeled and color coded..

Quit worrying about your R100.I would be more looking at bringing the FD out again mike. That REPU is in amazing shape for a REPU.Congrats.

$150 Aint that bad, you looked at Fd parts prices lately Where did you get the harness from?

i'm not worried at all about the r100, i have it all planned out
