I might be picking this Rx2 up within the week if all goes to plan. I already feel the car is mine, its just not in my hands yet. But, since i never expected to actually get one. I dont know what to do with it...

I was planning on building a drag car, but its all original except its missing the most of the interior. only the dash and seat are there. I was told it was used for autocross and ran good before it was parked. I could just clean up the body (decent already) and refresh the motor and drive it as is? but its the original 12a twin dizzy motor and i have never delt with that motor. I have read somewhere that they are 6mm apex seals, but other than that and having a twin dizzy... not much difference.

could i rebuild the motor with a 1st gen 12a rebuild kit and swap the rotarting assembly with 1st gen set? i cant imagine finding the stock 6mm apex seals anywhere these days...

and could i just swap to a 1st gen front cover and dizzy to get rid of the twin dizzy set up. im sure its hard to find a new one of those also if it goes bad.

where could i find new fiberglass body parts? i have seen them on a few cars. that would be much easier to find than origianl body parts if i need to replace anything...

any tips from long time rx2 owners??? i have always dreamt of having an rx2 or 3. but never thought i would have a chance to call one my own. needless to say, im pretty excited.
