well as most you guys know, my car is in the shop, and its been there for more than 3 months because of some important parts that i still have not recieved from rx-7store.net

(this was before i was a member of NOPISTONS.COM)



anyways, i knew he was a big sponsor for rx7club.com so i decided to piss him off and give an honest feedback about his store. well later on that night, after my thread and posts got deleted, he e mailed me.

jason, im sorry if that post offended you and your store. but you have to understand that its very frustrating to wait for parts that were ordered 3 months ago. and you know what i did not hear a word from you about the delay being this long, otherwise i would have ordered from else where, or changed my order to something that was in stock. the money has been taken out of my account when i first ordered the hood, and three months later i still dont have it. one more thing, whenever i call you, there seems to be a promise date that was never correct. dont you think that a person might be very skeptical about your business practices after that? now about the 99 spec front. i am upset about that because again, everytime i call, its always next week. and i finally recieved an e mail from you about a month and a half ago saying that everything has arrived and will be shipped, and to this day you say that the freight company is responsible for why i dont have the re-bar. im sorry if im getting upset about this situation, but i think i have the right to be upset. there is nothing wrong with being straight forward with the dates. im sure you would be upset too if your car has been waiting for a part for 3 months. its just not me that is getting upset, the bodyshop is also. they have started prepairing the car to be painted under my instructions about 2 months ago.



in response to you saying that my comments is not fair, well i dont think its fair for me and the body shop to be waiting for this long. and i do hold you responsible for the most part because you are the person im paying, and you are the person that is getting paid and you are the person that has been giving empty promises.



i hope that my feedback will encourage you to conduct your business in a better way.

yes he has responded..... still claiming that he is not to blame for anything. i will post them if he doesnt follow through with his most recent promises. but i did get a great deal of jason's attention, which was my main goal

was a shop pissed at you because they didnt have the part when you promised?

Poor martin here has a bodysop waiting on the hood, and they are getting pissed

that they cant finish the project and get his car outta there. It wouldnt be so bad if he was doing the

stuff himself.

well, its monday and i was told that the hood was going to arrive at the shop last wednesday. according to jason he would get intouch with me with the phone number of the place and the tracking number that is correct, as of now i didnt get an e mail or a phone call from jason.



as for the body shop...... the manager is still upset because they cant put anything on the car since they have to aline everything with the hood on.



the saga continues!!!!!

still no hood. i called jason today and he said that he was going to e mail me the phone numbers again ........... no e mail from him. tomorrow i will attempt to cancel my order. he's simply just not following through, and blames the "slow" freight company this time around!!!!! then dont use that ******* freight company!!!!!!

last night i got intouch with jason again...... he said that he just rectify things he would give me 100 dollars back. and sent me an e mail that had the tracking number for the hood. to my surprise the hood was not even picked up yet...... it actually was picked up today. so 4 or 5 days more........ hopefully.



i also got to talk to him today, he said that he is getting very pissed at the people that manufacture the hoods because he said he got screwed over a few times. then told me that he'll refund me the shipping costs.



so does that mean 100 plus shipping costs back to my account?!?



well we shall wait and see........



and i will believe it when i see it ( im a very skeptical person now)

You should have just ordered from jt-imports. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif It wouldn't have mattered if they were used if you are painting anyhow. Besides they would be painted allready, although they may not be color matched. I hope the body shop doesn't charge you storage fees.

no rotaryextreme doesnt make the hood........ i talk to chuck all the time, and if i didnt get the tracking number in time.... i would have cancelled and gotten the knightsport from chuck. he was gunna give me a pretty good deal too (chuck is the man!!!! incase you people didnt know yet)

well if you are gunna buy some parts....... make sure that they have it in stock, and make sure you get a tracking number for it. and call them the minute you smell something fishy

ok, after all the trouble i have went through......... i finally got the hood. and this thread helped me get a lot of jason's attention so he coulc actually follow up on the hood.

bodyshop said that the hood does not fit properly............. good thing they waited for the hood before putting on the other panels.

I got a RB dual exhaust through a gb from the rx7store and it came in fairly quickly.. for them at least.

i didnt really get into details on how the fit it....... but maybe they had to adjust the fenders and the bumpers or maybe sand down some parts of it....... oh well, as long as i get my car already (which i havent yet)
