MazdaTrix, what can I say; when I called for part's they either didn't have them or they gave me inflated prices. The guy's jocking the phone's on the "help line" would either follow my question with a rhetorical one, or I'd be repremanded for not knowing why certain thing's on my car were going wrong.
Places like this, and there not being a tuning shop or person with ANY rotary knowledge in a town of 160,000 is what led to my FD being sold. Mazda Trix sucks. |
Mazdatrix rules!
I don't know about any help line but John can diagnose anything rotary. The counter guy can be sarcastic and it's really hard to tell if he's serious. Maybe that was your experience? Other then that, no problems. They allways have parts in stock when I go and i've never overpaid. In fact when I needed a special order gasket for my y-pipe, they opened a kit for me so I can finish installing the same day insteading of having to wait for the part. |
I just order parts online so they can't yell at me, and I use a credit card too, just to spite them. Ha!

I agree with most of the comments already made. The older guy behind the counter is rather unfriendly, and has a bit to learn about hospitality/customer service. John himself is really nice, gets to the point, and doesn't feel the need to "sell" services or parts.
I had a friend who just went in last week for an FD TB coolant return gasket, which they didn't carry due to rarity. Their database is connected to the Mazda dealerships so they just did a search throughout the local area and directed us to Browning Mazda which they said carried 2 in stock. Whenever I call, I try not to talk to anyone other than John unless I know exactly what I'm looking for. Give & take, I guess..... |
They damn sure dont rush parts out--thats for sure!!!!

I asked yesterday if they had a bac block off plate, and the guy said "why the hell would you want to remove that??" https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

I should of noted that my experiences with them were when I first got my FD in '98. I ordered some part's from them in '01, and I still got the tough guy on the phone, but my part's shipped quickly, and at a good price.
I don't know about any help line |
talk to brian at www.mazdaformance.com. Better prices and service on stock parts

Mazdatrix is the best. They helped me with everything that I ever needed help with. Answered all my questions and diagnosed everything. You just have to try to talk to John, he knows his stuff. Their shipping takes awhile, but everything is always there and its quality.
