Does It Normally Take This Long?
I ordered a dual tip cat back from M2's website a month back and have not heard from them. I called 2 weeks ago and he said it would ship in a week. I've called daily and emailed once since then but no one answers the phone or responds to emails. So I still have no clue when they'll be in stock or ship. I know they are well respected but is this normal treatment and wait time for ordering parts from their site?
I've read of several people waiting ages to finally get their order. While some people get them instantly. M2 doesn't keep a huge stock of their items, which may be the case here. Alot of things are built when enough orders come in.
I guess I need to be patient in buying parts for a rare car. Does anyone know if the lack of communication via phone and email is normal for M2? I find it odd that no one answers the phone and believe me I've rang them many many many times. Thanks for the replies.
I think they're to busy WORKING. You should have tried getting the same product from one of our sponsors, they usually have them in stock and can ship the same day. I also agree with the fact that they don't keep stuff in stock, why should they. M2 can save mucho loot by having their manufacturers ship parts directly to distributers instead of keeping them in stock and having to ship 'em then.

Hi .. I have worked in retail for the last 20 years... selling furniture.. with (special order) furniture i.e. a bed headboard and footboard.. normally 8-12 weeks, furniture is not built as it is ordered some companies will not cut the pieces until they receive orders for up to 500 units. I work my S.O.R. (sales order report) I keep in contact with with 1st my company buyer and 2nd the vendors sales rep. I always keep in contact with my customer.. I have found over the years that if you keep the public (you) (me) umm everyone informed that most are willing to live with any news.. as long as a line of communication is open.. in this case of car parts the product is different, but the same respect should be maintained. thats just my thoughts.
