I recently purchased a 10th anniversary edition rx7 and went looking for parts. I ran across an ad on Facebook in a group called " FC Rx7 Restoration Group" where a person named Matt Montgomery was selling a steering wheel and other 10ae specific parts I needed.
I started to inquire about the parts when I noticed multiple posts for the same parts and then looked at the ad thoroughly only to find it was a scam. I commented on the parts not being correct and was blocked from the group as he was the moderator of.
I posted my experience in the main rx7 group on Facebook and found the seller is a known scammervand profiteer that is able to run scams on new people through his group and two other groups his friends run. However hes disliked among the community and is constantly called out for scamming people and blocking them when they call him out.
needless to say I didn't purchase anything from him but i felt it necessary to put it out there for people to see the type of person this guy is and the lies about the parts he is trying to sell to make more than their actually worth.
Here are screen shots from the thread on the main group. It's clear he is disliked and is not welcome in most groups. A few tried to ignore that he was just caught red handed scamming by saying they didn't get scammed, but that means nothing. He just tried to sell me 10ae parts that are not 10ae parts and he knew it.
I just wanted to share another example of the lies, scams and profiteering he has been doing and promoting. Beware his group and his sales. You are either overpaying or being scammed.
He uses multiple fake accounts More blatant lies about his parts for sale. Those are 89-91 s5 door panels, not 1988 10th anniversary edition panels. Here is an example of what him.and his friend are doing. Its destroying the rotary community. These are just s4 86-88 fenders. Just painted white. Average price is 200-300$
Matt is constantly making new accounts and scamming people and then saying it's not him doing it. 🙄 Matts scams Everyone calling on matt being banned... Admins called out then make matt a moderator and he bans everyone who calls out his scams. Its all thats happening. A few dozen run the clubs and groups and do what he is.
His last ditch attempt to discredit me in hopes it will have the proof of him scamming removed is nothing more than a projection of his guilt after being called out harassing, sexualizing and stalking underage kids.
Here is a seller that hashigh prices but does not lie about the parts condition or even being correct. I have no problems with these sellers. Be like him,not matt. 🙂
Ugh... Matt Montgomery ran to the rx7 clubs marketplace to spread his rumors. After he was called out on going onto underage kids profiles and sexualizing them, harassing them and stalking them he ran to the rx7 clubs to try to twist it. But the rx7 argument group and many other groups have been shut down for what he did. Matt ran around promoting that liam had sex with adults, like his father, after the group was shut down. He harrased and stalked liam for months after the group was removed.
Here is Matt Montgomery admitting he is a child predator. If he thinks the screens he posts are what make a person sick, hes obviously the worst.

joe was caught trying to seduce minors .here is proof. Every since then he has been using many accounts trying to shutdown my business. The local police have been made aware if his sickness
