Ok, I ordered my GT35/40 from them 7 weeks ago so I could go to the RX7Revolution....I was told it would probably arrive in time for the event. Well it is now 5-11-03 over 2 weeks after the event, and I have not even heard that it has been shipped yet...which takes 2 weeks in itself. So if it was shipped out today..I wouldn't have it until 5-25-03, 1 month after the event, 9 weeks after I ordered it. I know they have been having problems with their supplier and with Turbosmart, but I am getting worried here.

Has anyone else ever dealt with them? Ordered a turbo kit, intercooler, anything? I am 100% ready to cancel my order and order from somewhere else, they are $300 cheaper than A-spec....but 9 weeks w/o my car is not worth $300 to me...I am very upset with this entire issue and I wanted to see if anyone else has ever dealt with them. I have been ripped off before by people on the internet and I am not feeling very comfortable with this deal at all....I have not had a reply back from them for over 5 days and I have sent them 3-4 emails, and a PM on here...I have been telling them to just refund my money if the kit has not been shipped yet and now I am getting no reply....I either want my turbo or I want my money.

Sorry for ranting here, but I am getting annoyed as hell, and to get no replies for going on 1 week....it is getting me even more pissed off. I am thinking about going with a BB T66....I kind of want one now. The GT35/40 sounds nice and all....but if I on't get one, I will go for a T66 I think.

I recieved one email 3 days ago that provided no answers to my simple question of "is the kit shipped?"

That is all I want to know. If it it, great, I can't wait to get it, if it's not shipped yet, great, I can't wait to get my money back so I can order from a company that will get me my turbo kit in less time than 10 weeks now.

Has anyone ever dealt with them before?

well I've gone through something like this before...not with these people. the exp. was similar...now what you do Is demand in writing a ship date and don't forget to get it on tape! sounds sleazy but do it! and the persons name...must have If they say ok tell them you want it in 24hrs. or close for buis. that day...fax or what ever but signed. if they don't do it tell them you want a full refund within 24 hours or you will be sending a note to the B.B.B then if that don't work only option is a lawyer. if you use the BBB it must be in the state the company is in.

Scott, I honestly can say I never saw this thread before today. Even once you sent me an email telling me you posted here, I came and checked and there was nothing.

As you and I have already spoken since this thread, I have no need to repeat the emails...however, to save face for those of you thinking of ordering from us, I do want to explain some things:

We did have a large delay with our supplier. The fabricator himself underwent surgery and was out for a week. Then, thanks to lovely Turbosmart, the kits were put on hold for another two weeks because they were out of flanges for their WGs, and we were on their backs everyday. We did finally get the WG flanges, and have since completed the kits. It is difficult to express the needs to companies such as Turbosmart when we are "just another company" to them. I do apologize to you personally Scott for the delay, and to those who plan on placing orders, after the first of June, we will be stocking these kits and have since switched to dealing with Tial WGs. Turbosmart was not easy to deal with, and I don't recommend them to anybody.
