JR doesn't really have much to go on...nobody on TRI7 is planning anything.

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! I really wish I could update the site more, but with what? There is no new news, or events to talk about. I tried kickstarting these guys several times and get no response. What I'd like to do is allow this forum to open up in a frame on the site to make it interactive and get more people using it. But even though I run the website Wael still owns it and I don't think he'd appreciate it too much. He owns the domain and pays for the hosting. I'm going to talk to him about it and see what he says, even though he can be a little rude when talking about the forum he's a great guy and I think he'll come around to this once he sees that it is run well and usefull. Ed Kim one of the original members and founders of the club recently signed started posting over at rx7forum.com so maybe he can help me show Wael the light.

From what I gathered, a few of the old school TRI7 members are more concerned with politcs than with getting together and having events, which is why vosko was flamed hardcore when he planned his picnic...you know, the one where 50 RX-7s showed up. If certain people had been a little more appreciative of his (vosko's) efforts, then maybe it could have been even better, but instead he got flamed for posting an invite on the forum and on TRI7. The RX-7 community is extremely friendly in person but there always seems to be hostility on the net...kinda sux. Hopefully something can get worked out soon that will bring new life to TRI7...time will tell, I guess.

The site has been updated, see the thread about it here -> https://www.nopistons.com/cgi-bin....7;t=661 and let me know what you think.

Now that the forum is part of the site, we can include forum events in with club events...I went to 4 events this summer and none of them were really club related, but they all kicked ***.

Why dont we have like a get together somewhere. Maybe race some cars, drinks some beers or something. Aint nothing going on over here. I say we pick one day on a weekend and everyone gets together with their rx's.
