Since this topics was about insurance, I'm going to post something that might get us back on track.



If you own 2 cars... (an rx7 + another beater) some companies (New Jersey Manufacturing) will allow you to register the 7 as a classic... thus reducing the cost for full coverage and you get TWO cars insured...



that's what I plan to do... cuz I'm 21, 5 points.. male... no accidents that was MY FAULT...... and dishing out 5k for full coverage... 500 deductable (collision and other than collision)

ouch 4 points, i think i have 4 now too, i should probably take the class (got 2 points for MY car getting hit, damn oakland police and their ancient "i have a quota, so you get a ticket for breathing" system.)

this is false..

there are no 7s that are classic...

classics are pre 1948...

historical may be the word he is looking for in which case a car needs to be 25 years old so any pre-78 car is now historical. If you tell insurance the car will only be on the road to go to and from car shows, and you do like under 2,000 miles a year you get the wonderful "QQxxxxx" plates which drops your insurance wayyyy down. Dad had a 70 chevelle and the insurance was like paying for a tricycle haha

New jersey Cure they were about $600 less then any other insurance i could find which didnt really help me cause it still cost $1200 for liability alone ..
