Vosko,

are you running a torque brace in that pic? If so, does it mount to the passenger side fender?

no torque brace in that pic. my hood is up a little because i have to clock the turbo a little more. the elbow from the turbo hits the hood a little. that's fixed now. i was more concerned with racing and kicking some supra *** at the moment

Thats cool.

I was just wondering if your were running one of those wimpy torque braces that I have seen. I don't like how they just mount to the fender sheet metal. After a while, they will fatigue the sheet metal and break or start to crack. Not to mention the ones that bolt to the intake. I guess I just like things a little more secure...

The misaligned hood/fender had me wondering if it was causing the fender to distort that much under heavy load.

BTW - Cool Pic! :bigthumg:

Why don't you guys run "skinnies" on the front to drop some dead weight off the car (and rotational inertia!)?

You may be able to drop 30lbs or more off the front.

You might be able to pull the front off the ground if you did

Vosko, all it takes is a set of 15 x4" wheels and tires to slap on at the track. I'm sure you put rears on at the track already.

If I ever get a few extra $$'s, I'm going to get a set for the Midget and use one for a spare (space saver style ).
