I have an extra tranny that is shot, so before i take it to the recycling place I figure I'll take it apart and try to learn something. So I have the tail housing off and the front cover off also. It looks like the next step is take the snap rings off of the shafts (both sides) and that nut on the back side of the auxiliary shaft (forgot technical name).

Question 1: How do i get the shift fork out?

Question 2: Am i on the right track?

Question 3: Whats a good way to separate the bellhousing from the gearbox once i get all the stuff off?

Give me some pointers, and thanks in advance.
