Ur FAV tires?

Man this forum is DEAD!
Anyway I asked this question cuz I was ordering a set of tires for my new wheels(well until the deal went south). I pretty much went with the advice of another forum member who seems to really know his **** when it comes to tires plus the fact that he races it a lil bit helped me think he was a lil more qualified than some others. So I ordered myself a set of those Yoko AVS I's.....235/40/17F and 255/40/17R. Ask me how much they cost? $380 shipped to my front door! The Tire Rack is clearancing them out.
Problem now is I have tires OTW and NO RIMS!!!! hahahahaaaa
I was getting the GramLights (17x8.5 and17x9.5) in gunmetal but the vendor f'cked that deal up soooo now Im looking at a different set of wheels altogether from another guy.
What do you think about the RPM2's (17x8 and 17x9)?????????
I know they arent anythng exotic or monster money but I just want somethng decent for now until my home is done then Ill probably go for the Fikse later on.

I always go by wheel weight, then looks, of course that is after factoring in the money.
for the record my FAV is Yoko's A509s, now discontinued, I will probably run the AVS Intermediates on one of my cars in a 14inch, but will end up with Khumos on my 15 inchers.

I have been Running on Yoko A509's in back and S306's in the fron tfor drag racing, but the A509's are too hard, on the advice of my sponsor, I got RE910's from Bridgestone.
Good wear (REALLY soft, fingernail will score it), great traction for raod or Strip racing if the profile is right. Too many chaices to say one is better than the other, but STAY AWAY FROM KUMHO"S!!!!! They have a bad bead design and WILL blow on you if you try to lay it down hard after a few runs (At least drag racing, raod racing may be different, but I like to be able to get out of the pit when racing)
NO FALKEN or other cheapy crap, stay with the majors and you will be fine. Just buy for the purpose you want. AVIS's are great tires...

[QUOTE]NO FALKEN or other cheapy crap[QUOTE]< I have Falkens ( GRB's) and they werent that cheap, they do make different levels of tire you know, every tire Bridgestone makes isnt equal to the others.
