My car has AAS on the rear, but not the front. In front I have KYB GR-2 shocks. Is this half AAS package stock, or are these aftermarket shocks? And if so, are they any good?

Pardon my ignorance, I realize now that the GR-2's must be replacements. But are they any good? KYB seems like a good company so my hopes are high.

I have worked on a lot of mazda's including many rx7's and in my personal Opinion, the KYB's are the best shocks out there. My father worked at Downtown Mazda for 10 years as a formen and he also recomends these shocks. So look for a set for the back.
