alright, in that case i'll break it down for you. For just the hubs, you are looking at almost $1000....each, then you need wheels that have a center lock which are also VERY expensive, also close to $1000....each, and of course then you'll need brake rotors with hats to clear those hubs. Then you need the necessary tools to take them on and off, they get torqued to about 350ftlbs. If you are going through all that it might also be a good idea to get airjacks as well, those have to be installed to tie into your rollcage. This is for your race car correct? I can help you choose parts and stuff if you still decided to go through with it.

yeah i am still interested in doing it. i already have the wheels picked out and the brakes figured out. i talked to endless zeal about it they said that it wouldnt be a problem for the brakes and rotors. the wheels are like $5 grand so yeah i already knew this wasnt going to be cheap. now i just need to know where to get the axles from. i dont think i am going to get the air jacks for now to try to keep my cost down. once i figure everything out i will go ahead and get this..i am pretty sure the wheels come with the tool to take them off but i will double check.

thanks,

john

what kind of suspension setup are you running now? i'm just curious as you seem pretty serious about building a pretty crazy track car and i am heavily involved in grand am and world challenge racing.

if you are interested in getting a real racing coilover let me know, i have some connections with protrac as well as a guy who makes custom springs, i can probably put together a package for you for under 5k. Also let me know when you want to upgrade to aluminum bushings. What series are you going to be racing this car in?

i sure as hell hope not, there isn't much point in having centerlock wheels on a street car. You'd have to have someone follow you around in a van with an air compressor and an impact gun to take your wheels on and off in case you got a flat! haha can't really put those things on by hand unless you have a 4ft torque wrench or something. Anyway, i don't think anyone is loose enough with their money to spend 10 grand on something like that unless it was a full competition race car.
