I think you do need small diameter springs to fit the 18x10" wheels in front. You can run 9.5" wheels in front with the stock-style springs, though. One of my friends had 17x9.5" CCWs with RB springs on the front of his car.

I thought so. I think 93 R1 has 18 X 9.5 +50 with stock springs.
