Pillowball Mounts
#1
I'm ordering the Tein SS coilovers for my 94 rx7, and noticed that there are tein pillowball mounts that can be ordered as well...Will stock mounts work alright with coilovers, or should I order the tein mounts with the coilovers? The mounts currently on my car are the stock ones (with 152,000 on them) so I'm thinking they'd have to be replaced soon anyway, I'm just trying to figure out the best option. Thanks for any input.

if you are gonna order the pillow ***** for the SS you might as well get the flex system. the pillowballs will transfer more vibration and more direct hits into the chassis then the stock mounts. if you go with the tein mounts you might as well get the flex since it offers more perfomrance oriented shock valving then the ss. and you can also adjust spring preload

Thanks for the advice! I didn't realize that the Flex coilovers came with the pillowballs. They definitely seem to be a better choice, and are actually cheaper when you factor in not paying extra for the mounts.
