so if the tires have more "give" you have less traction????obviously not or else you wouldn't have gotten them humongous tounge bitches. so enlighten me

 

they are stickier but the actual tire takes more of the impact when launching. think of it as a really soft bouncy ball. when you smash it on the ground it flattens, absorbs the impact then goes up again. the tires do the same thing

 

It's the same thing with a Synchro Tranny and a Dog Tranny. If you don't know how tranny's work I screwed you up even more now. LOL

Of course it does. If you don't match the RPMs on a dog tranny you'll get a a hard snap when you release the clutch and the teeth snap into place. It's the same as if you had hard tires, the tires won't give as much as softer stickier tires and you in turn wheel hop or break stuff. The synchros are then sort of like softer stickier tires when they give way and match the RPMs for you. That way you don't break ****. Or am I totaly wrong, it makes sense to me. I know it's not the best comparisson but **** it.
