I cleaned the wheels too. you need to learn better car care behavior https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

They were suprisingly easy to mount, the old ones were a bitch to get off though.

I balanced them correctly, not like that **** job someone else did!, but thats another story https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

thank you VERY much https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

you da man! one day i'll bring the car to you and you can rebalance the front wheels and tires.... since the same place did them...

i learned i will only let you do that for me https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif

vosko 03-28-2003 01:02 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png wheres my wallet

turbovr6 03-28-2003 02:02 PM

the rims are bent a little bit, nothing bad, but you have to expect that when you combine low profile tires, hard suspention, and Jersey roads!!!

The ghetto guys that mounted those old tires should be shot. There were old stick on weights on there, I assume from when you got them from racing beat. Instead of taking them off, they left them on and just added the **** lead weights on the outer lip. I pulled all that off, and balanced with new stickon's. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

vosko 03-28-2003 02:38 PM

sweet! yeah i'm gonna make you rebalance the fronts eventually https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

turbovr6 03-28-2003 03:07 PM

considering the place that did them, I'm really not surprised with what I found https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

j9fd3s 03-28-2003 03:15 PM

they are simply huge!

vosko 03-28-2003 03:39 PM

well normal tire treadwear ratings are from 300-400. Those are 180 so they are damn sticky, and won't last too long

vosko 03-28-2003 04:03 PM

i don't drive that much and if they wear out they might get a nail in them

christi 03-28-2003 04:03 PM

Ya - I know they won't fit an FC:( But Ih ad to try. I really love those wheels. Can't you custom drill the lug-holes to make them fit?

BigTurbo74 03-28-2003 04:14 PM

i don't understand, why don't you spend the loot for some stronger differentials or tranny so you can actually use your old tires without breakin somethin????? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...

rx7machine 03-28-2003 04:32 PM

Looks good. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683827.gif

its possible but i don't think so. the wheels were custom made for the racing beat FD..... so they are made to fit a FD. you could have some custom wheels made if you want https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR

umm this actually will prevent stuff from breaking.... part of the reason i broke was those POS street tires!

why is that?

i thought if the motor keeps pushing, and the tires are stuck on the ground......... something in the middle should give........ right?

Benny 03-28-2003 05:19 PM

wanna sell those rims? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

oh i didnt think of it that way.......

the way i thought of it before was...... the stickier the tires, the harder it is to "give" because its stuck on the ground...... and the harder tires would easily give because they dont stick to the ground.
