i have the sandpaper and paint ready, i'm just afraid to touch the wheels right now because i'm not 100% sure what i want them to look like. if i did black, then my car would be all black, inside and out. gunmetal has always tempted me but i can't really visualize what it would look like. if i choose gunmetal, then i have black and "dark bronze" (really close to gunmetal) to play around with to get the right shade. some of my friends have told me they like it as is, but i kind of want something new, so please give me all of your opinions. Pictures would be great also, if some of you have done this to your fd (especially black fds). thanks for any input.

i dont like the stockers when they are painted black, they look bloated.





I have mine powdercoated silver and i like it alot.

 

I voted black , but what I have in mind is a semi gloss or flat black.. Nothing glossy..

I'm not a big fan of flat black wheels on any car, but thats just my opinion. I mixed my own color, black/gunmetal/topsecret. baked them, hit them with some clear and baked them again.
