LOL. I had 16's on one of my 1st gen's and thought the fit was too close. I would imagine that car bottoms out on the fender wells more than it should.

oh and those tires look to be a good 2 or 3 inches from the fender and i wouldnt think there would be that much travel, i dont think theres that much travel in mine and its stock
