How strong is a GSLSE rear ? I know that this question really depends on what the car is going to be used for but I'm looking for a differential for my 69 Toyota Corolla 13B. This car isn't for the race track but some street abuse my accure. My Hp will be around 215HP with an EFI setup from atkins. I know that I could probably use a 8.8 ford diff but i think it's an over kill. So, is it worth even using a rx diff and having it shorten to fit the KE11.

I have heard 350-400rwhp. I haven't tried it yet though. I intend on pushing the limits though, see what is false and fiction...

i think a lot depends on how you put the power to it. wheel hop or big shocks will break it, i broke the ring gear on mine, with the stock engine, and i dont drag race, but other people run 10's....

Well, I believe i maybe trying this out shortly ! It's a toss-up between the gsl-se diff and the 79 toyota celica supra diff w/ disc brakes. I've heard there able to handle 350-400 rwhp as well. So, i guess it's just a matter of which diff i find first.
