I just put on my new typhoons on my FC, with brand new tires, brand new valve stems(the fancy ones that come with the wheels) and they leak....bad, the stems leak almost all the way down over night, and its not the same wheel..the other day it was the left, then they were fine..now today the right front goes down..wtf? The stems are FOR the wheels, sold WITH the wheels from 5zigen...this blows my mind..I have mounted LOTS of wheels and tires, and never had this. I know its THESE valve stems...my questions is for people with 5zigen wheels is, have you had this problem, what did you do, and if it helps, the stems are the chrome(looking) 90 degree ones that come with Typhoons.

The stems push in from the inside, with ONE rubber lip, them on the outside of the wheel there is a rubber washer, metal washer, than an open face nut....I've tightened..and everything I can think of...

 

can you actually hear the air leaking from around the valve stem?



you sure it's not the schraeder valve being loose or something?

 

This is myjdm, Im on lanechange's pc..yes, the valve stem is leaking air. I Finally got them all BUT ONE to quit leaking...now one loses ruffly 5psi over night! I am fucked with the valve stem trying to get it to seal...but no luck yet. Has anyone else had this problem with 5zigen wheels?
