Is placing a Kaaz in exchange for the original torsion a straight swap or are there

things I should know before?(shims etc.) My friend who does this(rear ends) thinks it may not be so simple but we have to see.Any warnings or suggestion before we get started would be helpful.

if you are using the same ring gear, it will bolt right up. just put any shims/spacers back where you found them. You will only need new shims if you change the gears
