What do you guys use for winter? The tires on my FC have very little tread left on them so I will need to pick up a set sometime soon. Since it seems we are going to be getting snow soon, I was wondering what if anything has helped you guys get around in the snow?

I have 2 options either buying a brand new set of all season tires(225/45 17") or picking up 2 snow tires stock size(205/55 16) and use them on the stock wheels along with the old tires I have mounted (BFG comp T/A 215/50 16).

I have not found too much info from the tirerack and my main concern would be snow traction vs dry/wet perf. and of course wear.

TIA
