17x9s

For anyone running 9 wides front/ back (on an FC) any issues with rubbing?
I have a set of 17x9s with 255 wides and was thinking of throwing them on, but wasn't sure if anything needed trimmed. I do not have coilovers at this time, so if anyone has had experience, input would be greatly appreciated!

17x8's is needed for the front, or you have to run wide fenders. 17x9 on the rear is no problem if the offset is right, if the offset is a little off you have to watch what tire you run, and get rid of the rear steer bushings for solids so the the tires dont rub on the trailing arms during heavy cornering.
I am running 265's on the rear of one car, and 275's on the rear of the other. The 265's are a dunlop spec racing tire so they are actually a little wider than the 275 hankook.
