I want to move to NC, property is SUPER cheap there compared to here. But my question is, what kind of work is around the area, are the winters really bad? Summers super humid? I want to know people's experience who live there.



I am looking at properties, and a 5 bed 3 bath house on Raleigh is like 200k, a house like that here is like 500k. Real estate is such bullshit. It's a ******' house, who gives a **** about location.

I should be moving down there after the winter. I just need a change, and I want to own a home. I just can't do that here in maryland. Property is so damn expensive.



And why the **** are you selling the FC?

Shut up and quit your dreamin. Get back in line and go to work and save. Do you think I could have afforded a house here when I was your age back in 1996? Definitely not. Bide your time at workl and look for rentals in St. Mary's county. You should definitely be able to find something. **** Rikkis brother might have a room to rent. I'll ask if your interested in living in Leonardtown.

Dude, I have to rent a ******' apartment out in Prince Frederick. I am going to the complex tomorrow to check the places out. It is a little bit cheaper than Waldorf, and it is not as ghetto-fied. I have taken a look at properties down in St.Mary's and it is cheaper. I just need a change, ya'know? I guess I need to see how the future pans out for me.

Real Estate IS location. Not just city/state, but neighborhood/street.



Examples, 3000sq/ft house, 4/3.5, three car garage.....

In northwest Las Vegas (very nice area), $750-800k.

Same house, same everything in Red Rock Country Club (also very nice area), $1.5-2 million.



Another.....



2000sq/ft 3/2, two car garage.....

In Amarillo Texas, $120k

In a good area in Vegas, $500k

On the beach in LA, $1mil and up.

yeah, prices are also cheaper there because income is less there.

Where in NC? What skills do you bring to the table. The last thing we need is another FREE-LOADING Yankee looking for cheap realestate!
