I read in FSView that the FSU car club, S-Factor, is hosting a show to be held at Doak

Campbell Stadium. The article said they had over 100 show cars already confirmed. More info at www.clubsfactor.org. Anybody coming to this as an entry? Anybody going just to check it out (free for spectators, i think)?

seems kind of counterproductive to have a car demolition at a car show, but what the hell.

I might go just for the raffles, if nothing else.

heard that! free entry, free stuff, free eye-candy.

Patrick, have you seen that navy blue 2nd gen with a small red graphic on the doors (dragon?)..Georgia plate. I've pulled up alongside a couple of times but traffic was heavy. Also this past Sunday, met the 3rd gen owner i've seen around town a few times. He's an older guy but very nice. we talked for about half an hour. Hopefully we can arrange a meet some day that'll be larger than the previous ones I've been to.

I haven't seen that 2nd gen. I've seen several kinda crappy ones. One I've seen is charcoal/dark silver, nice rims, young guy, seen NW side of town. Very sleek car. The only 3rd gen I've seen driving around is the one owned by the guy that used to work at ACE hardware on Tharpe street. Black, exhaust, looks all stock. He picked up payments from his friend who went to jail, that lucky bastard. You probably see more nice cars on the east side, at least that's what I've noticed. I'm off of highway 20 so all I see are 80's v8's and jacked up trucks.

and the wife says she's up for checking out the show at the stadium, so it'll be a family outing

judging from the check-in times i'm guessing 10:30-11:00 and anytime after that is a good time to go.

i decided to leave my bone-stock, ding-in-da-hood fd at home and save the $25. Anyways, i'm sure there'll be some "show" 7's there for me to drool at (there better be).

i'll be going in my sentra so i also don't have to worry about dings in the parking lot.

dang! we went to tgi fridays last night, and struck up a friendship with the waitress. yadda yadda yadda, we're going to her son's 1st birthday party saturday at around 11:00 on saturday

maybe it'll rain on saturday, and they'll have it sunday

I'm sure the party will be fun, but I wanted to go to the car show I guess it might last all day, so I'll see if I can make it later in the day

it was okay, but for some reason I expected more cars to be there. although, i didn't realize there was that many car clubs in Tallahassee, I've never heard of some of them. NRG was there with their fd with the nissan sr20det(?) engine swap(hmmmm). one of the hosting club cars was a second gen. there was a viper, 3000GT, and S2000.

no other 7's, no nsx, no supra, no celica, no Z, no WRX, no porsche...but hey, it wuz free and i had nothing better to do.
