Judy,
why don't you come to the SC meet/ SE Christmas party on December 7th in Aiken? Its at banzaitoyota's house. There's a thread about it here in the SE forum. I'm sure that if you bring the sensor, we can take care of that for you. Also, what trim are you looking for? Maybe we of the SC club can help you out.

Sorry i can't make the 7th, my husband is doing some testing. Can i host the next meeting? i'll bake all the cupcakes! i am located in Spartanburg.
i would seriously put someone up here for the weekend in exchange for some not so serious maintainence on my 7.
Here is what i need....
1. i had a master cylinder and new brakes, but my brakes don't feel right yet....they go to the floor. Maybe he missed a bit of air? No longer use that mechanic.
2. i have front wiper problems. i had a new??? motor put in but they remain intermittant, and just stop where they want to. No longer use that mechanic.
3. Driver exhaust rusted out and even though i wanted a match for my factory passenger side, i got some fishy cheap thing. And it rattles like a marimba band. No longer use that mechanic.
4. Last winter my AT was diagnosed as having a bad temperature sensor. The symptoms were that on cold mornings, on the first start, it spun till warmed up. And the problem went away for the warm weather. It had a new tranmission put in less than 3000 ago. Actually this is the second tranmission in 5000 miles. The first one fell to pieces due to bad torque converted on the first rebuild. No longer use that mechanic.
5. Two broken interior pieces. The plastic trim above both the passenger and driver doors have cracked. Not the rubber but the 3 inch body parts. Can't figure why they cracked. Color is grey.
None of the things i need done are serious, but i just can't find even an average good guy here. i have had my '86 GXL since '86 and i'm attached to it, but it starting to need a bit of TLC.

Judy,
Roger Mandeville's shop, Mandeville Auto Tech, is in your neck of the woods.
Should be in the Yellow Pages. Roger is on my top-5 list of rotary guru's - used to run Cup cars too. If he can't help you, he'll know who can.
Say hi to Gary and Nancy for me. Good people.
All best,
Steve C.
