Well, I'm new to this board, and like the topic said wouldn't mind meeting some of the fellow RX-7 guys. Can do something here at my house (In Jax) or maybe at my place of work. (A Larry's Giant Subs) I doubt my boss would care, long as people bought stuff, and theres plenty of parking. If anyone is interrested let me know and we can work something out.

I'm pretty sure there were a couple bbq's in Jax a last year. I couldn't make it, but I know they held it at a park somewhere.

 

When is the meet being held?

 

No date or anything official yet. Just wanted to throw the idea out there in case anyone is interrested. If so maybe in the mid July time frame, or maybe an all RX-7 July 4th. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, interresting.

as Baldy said above, there are some good size rx-7 meets in jax every couple of months and i believe there is one in a week or two...you should check out the other forum in the southeast section. i have been to 2 barbeques in jax (i'm from tally) and made quite a few friends. to see pics from these events check out the following links:

oh, it's always at Girvin Park on Girvin Road off of Atlantic.

 

Yeah, thats what actually made me decide to post here and try it out. I've allready tried to get something going on www.teamfc3s.org but with no avail. unfortunatly I can't drive too far because my driving is'nt exactly the most legal. Which is why I'm shooting for a date in July. If we can get something going i'd be happy to host it. We just need to work out the finite details.

Yeah, a friend of mine went last time, he drove his girlfriend's black Turbo-II. Unfortunatly I didn't have my 7 back then so didn't go. I'm on the other side of town though closer to Orange Park.

I think that's my frined's car in the first picture. Between the yellow third gen, and the red third gen. He made his own headlight scoop. SO if that car had one, that was him.
