anyone in the atlanta or SC area? commerce dragway is open this friday, $10 to watch, $15 to race. i'll be out there this friday if it doesn't rain, and would love to see more 7's out there.

 

well, i ran like absolute **** tonight. could not get the car to hook at all, was cutting miserable 2.4 60'. best time was a 13.4@109. i'm pretty dissapointed in myself, considering that last year i ran 13.0@107. however, i did meet a couple of other FD guys there, and they said they would check the forum out, so something was accomplished.

 

I kinda wish we had a dragstrip somewhere around here .

yeah, as Baldy said, i don't even have a clue as to where there's a track around here. aahh, i'd just crash anyway. is this Commerce strip in Atlanta or is SC?

 

Yea, the nearest one from me is like an hour away not too bad.. but I still haven't had time to go.. probably gonna wait til I get some more mods going..

have you been to one before? i admit, i haven't. i guess you could get some more mods done, or you could just try it out and if anybody gives you grief just tell 'em your car's still stock.

 

you know there's that old one on Highway 20 that they've been fighting to reopen. But it's like 1/4 mile away from several neighborhoods. I say we mow the weeds and just use it anyway.
