Any Sugestions Where I Can Get My 12a Rebuilt?
I don't care if its a shop or a fellow RX7 owner that's good with rebuilding engines. I would like to keep it under $1500 if possible and it would not be for another month or 2 (end of Jan, Beginning of Feb.) Maybe earlier depending on price.
I am in fort myers and cant drive the car, so I can only get it towed 90 mile radius with my Triple A.
if anyone knows of a shop in the area that's good with rebuilds let me know their name and possibly a phone # if you have it.
and if anyone is in my area and can rebuild it let me know.
I really miss driving my FB so any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

there is a shop in naples called compact car performance... a guy named carlos runs it. i know exactly how to get there but i cant remember their number right now. i can post back latter with their phone number.
thanks, think he wanted 1700 to rebuild if I needed rotor housings and wanted porting. was looking in hopes of finding a small shop or back yard mech that would be able to get a little cheaper (want it running by summer.) thanks though
If you want the BEST to rebuild the motor, get in touch with Dragon Motor Sports down in Miami. I'll post the phone number in a bit ifyou want. Louis was on the original team RX-7 and has been working on them exclusively for over 20 years.
Best would be nice, but price is a big problem at the moment. I just need it to run without problems (or smoke like right now) Miami is a bit far, so I don't know how I would get it over there. If I could get the number so I can check it out after the hollidays and see what kind of $ I'm looking at. thanks in advance.
