Awesome. Help spread the word. It's a central location to the four states so we need a HUGE turnout.

dallas is a central location? i think texarkana would be a more central location. but yeah, ill spread the word.

I initially thought Texarkana, too, but there's nothing to do there. DFW has more to offer as far as things to do & see after the meet is over.



Anyone up for some FUN?!

The weekend we have in mind is openeing weekend of the TX State Fair and there is also an SCAA Solo2 Event. I figure we could have the BBQ on one day and enjoy other activities while they're in town. More bang for the traveler's buck. There's lots to do in town, including legal racing at some local tracks for Friday night.



And DFW is about 4 hrs away from the cities where the majority of RX owners live.

im not against the dallas location, bc its better for me. i was just stating that its not a very central location for these 4 states.

The Quad-State BBQ is officially scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2005 beginning at 11am at the Elm Grove Pavilion in River Legacy Park in Arlington, TX!!!

Lol, for those who can still access it, there's updated on the RX8Club forum on the BBQ. We have a possible sponsor for t-shirts and there's more in progress. We decided on a t-shirt design tonight as well as the flyer for the event. So far so good!!!

I'm working on getting info on drag racing Friday night. There's a track in Kennedale but I don't know the specifics and the website is down. I'm hearing it's only 1/8... I'll post when I know more info about this.
