I have this 1980 Lancer EX 1800GSR Intercooler Turbo but is lacking in zoom-zoom!

Didn't want to go the 4G63T route...

Interesting project good luck. Too bad not going the 4G63T route, I have seen one & it was damn nice.

BTW have you searched to see if anyone else has tried or completed this particular swap? Unless you have found someone who has done this most of the answers you will find will be directly related to the powerplant & not the actual swap.

I have seen a couple but they used 13b non-turbo... I was thinking it should be "almost" the same. They have done a lot of these swaps actually in Australia and New Zealand.

Well I would think that the guys who have done the 13b NA swaps would have the answers you need as far as the swap goes. Now on other aspects such a tuning & what not for the turbo application then the guys here should be of help to you.

I was excited to acquire a twin turbo...

why is it that I always see and read people dropping the twin turbo and going for a single one?

I would just like to hear from you guys what would be the advantage and would this make for simpler tuning?

What would the basics steps be in the actual procedure? cost wise would this hurt my wallet a lot??
