Headed out with a friend of mine and his brother that was visiting from out of town, so we decided to go to the local drift spot and watch them drift. Well, Cops showed up as soon as we go there, so we figured we'd head back to the shop to see if Dragon had finished his 20B Install.



We're almost home when this Lancer EVO VI that was hanging with us decides to get bold with me. I'm at a stop light in the far left lane of a 3 lane highway. Light turns green and I go, followed by my friend in a WRX...with the EVO behind him. I'm not accelerating vigorously or anything...just gradually getting up to the speed limit when the EVO swings hard right and around the WRX at full throttle and next to me and passes me full blast...



...not to be one to punk out on a roll, I downshift and catch him at the top of 2nd gear...shift...and reel him in with 3rd gear as I pass him. Then I left off the gas so he can pass me and I nail it again and pass him in 3rd...shift...and destroy his *** in 4th gear....4 or 5 cars from a roll....the whole time during this race, I would spin tires as soon as boost came on.



He would have probably gotten me from a launch because of my 235/40 drift tires out back(still waiting on Nitto's )



He was lucky it started to rain or I would have pushed it to 5th gear just to prove a point.

They get more power. This is the EVOVI, not VII our car was based on

 

i think the 5 was the hottest, nice kill though i wanna see the night life in japan
