Right ive had my 84 fb four 3 years know and havent played with. So i think its time to start. A friend of mine has just taken a n/a 13b 6 port efi out of his 88 fc. Im planning to fit it in to my fb with out the the efi system. What i was wonderring was what do i do with the dizzy if i run carbs? On the carb side of things i dont have a great deal of cash to spend on one and kit are not very comon over here in the uk. Has anyone thought about running bike carbs ?

Idk if racing beat ships internationally or not but they have what you need

 

use the distributer from the 12a for the ignition, bike carbs no. you can find webber IDA carbs all over the place and the manifolds for them aswell. or you can use a modded holley carb also but i personaly am not a fan of that carb set up. if your from the uk you should be able to pick up some webber DCOE carbs also and just buy a manifold for the DCOE from raceing beat or mazdatrix or tweakit.net

 

You can make your own intake manifold too if you have any experience with welding and pipe bending.
