Hey all. Thanks for having me. Here's my 1985 GSL-SE. I rebuilt the motor a year ago but have never gotten it started. It has good compression. I had some trouble with the fuel rail and was unsure of the injectors so I repaired the rail and replaced injectors - verified they work; also found that years of sitting got sludge in the gas tank, so I was able to clean that up nice and sparkly, as well as a new fuel pump and clean lines all the way to the engine. It's also verified working well; I made sure during reassembly of the motor that I was set for timing properly because the 85 13b doesn't have any offset bolt on the eccentric pulley so I had to make sure that was set right, and I rebuilt my distributor and verified the igniters work using a bulb and relay method I saw online; I have a nice strong battery and it cranks nice and quick, but it gives no sign at all that it's gonna start; No pop or any hint of combustion at all; I've done the flooding method of clearing out the chambers in case I was cranking too long, etc. I have volts going to the spark plugs, and stupidly found out they're hot when I accidentally grabbed one while my son was cranking - I got a jolt. However, even though I got a nice jolt, none of them produce a visible spark. Any idea whats' going on? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
