I was able to cut 4 passes Friday night at Edgewater in Cincinnati.

I have a 1987 TII with a JDM swap from Osaka JDM.

This car sat in my back yard for the past 5 years waiting for me to put a motor in it.

2 years ago i pulled the motor, and about a month ago I got it back on the road. Since then I've been

working out the drive-ability bugs.

I have a foam filter (because i could find my stock box) and completed the emissions removal procedure from rotaryresurrection.com (complete with throttle body mod) Other than that the car is pretty much stock (Yes i know i need exhaust soon).

This is my first pass, I've never been to the strip before so I was still in aww. I deep staged and bogged it. The lights moved faster then i thought and i wasn't ready.

My second pass I was ready a little too ready, I couldn't seem to get the car into 4th so i coasted through the last part of the 1/4mile. I was actually really satisfied with this time.

I took a long break after my second pass before i did a third. After talking with some buddys that i went with, we decided to lower tire pressure. We pulled out the gage and my tire pressure was 42psi!!! So we dropped the pressure to 26psi and i had another go at it. (Still couldnt get into 4th)

My third run felt good, but i knew i could do better. I still didn't get into fourth gear at the end I was just so nervous at the end of the track because everything else went so well i fubarred gettin into fourth almost every time.

I know, I'm excited about the car I had no idea what to expect. Before i go back I'm going to replace the clutch, bearings and shifter bearings.

Yeah i haven't added anything, i actually just took a gamble and put the JDM straight in. I need suspension, a clutch, and exhaust. After i get the necessities I want to start to build a little bit more, mainly electronics and all the needed stuff before doing a rebuild/port and turbo/fuel upgrades. I probably need some body work before i do all that too.
