Hey all,



My first post here. I'm considering buying an 89 coupe (N/A) and use it's engine and possibly a few other parts for an '88 vert (N/A) that I'm considering buying (which has a seized engine). My question is, can I strip the S5 down to the shortblock, put the S4 parts onto the S5 block and use it in my '88 Vert as well as keep the emissions rack in place? Also, will most of the S5 parts fit and work (non-body) in my S4 Vert?



I NEED to know soon because I'm considering purchasing both by tomorrow (3/4) or Monday.

Why don't you swap the whole motor out.

 

yep, you can just use the short block if you want to
