problmes starting sometimes

I have a 86 FC. it happens ever so often where it will not start, i'll have to pump the gas and about the 5th to 8th time cranking it and gettin a weak idel with pushing the gas i can get it to start. what's wrong and what do i need to do to fix that problem?

sounds like its flooding a problem w/ leaking injectors or low compression

Rule # 1 check compresion go from there.

same kinda deal here, but i dont know what this "check compression" is. then again, i dont know anything about cars so that seems about right.

search for it and it will explain alot u will eventually need to know about it. its very important especially if u own a 7 also if compression is good the injectors are an easy fix
